Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 7 premieres tonight on HBO, and I’m over at my parents tonight to watch it since I don’t have television at my house. I should say that I don’t have television at my house out of a pretentious attitude, but rather, I can’t afford television. Anyway, here is the BEST clip from Season 6, in my opinion.

Of course, there’s another, better reason why astronauts are born lonely. City kids don’t have the room nor any need to dream. The lights and the chaos burn away their imaginations. The only decent dreaming gets done out here, in our wider landscapes, in our deserts and canola fields, those beautiful places where we don’t even have to look up to see all of the sky at daybreak and every last star at night.

My First Photography Commission
Some family friends, the Mabry’s, who contract with me to housesit their house throughout the year have also turned out to be my first photography commission!
I was taking some pictures of their pets for practice with my new 70-300mm lens when I first got it, and I posted those pictures on my photography blog. After seeing those, they asked for me to take a few more of their dog(s) and print off some 5x7s for them.
I just completed that job right now and above are the photos for you all to see. It feels weird to brand the photos with my name now since they are now sold property!

As some of you may know, I am Directing a short film that my brother wrote called “Good Mourning Graves”. It is the debut short film for the production company that my brother, cousin, and I have started. I’m excited and it should be very fun to do.
We’ve started the process and gotten everything all cast and have already had a cast/crew meeting. I’m pretty excited to get started on shooting this film that contains alot of firsts for me as a filmmaker. I think that’s pretty important when approaching something creatively, though. If you don’t continually challenge yourself, then you aren’t learning anything. And learning is the name of the game.
